Robert Rauschenberg, Artist and Dance Collaborator, Dies at 82

The inventive American artist Robert Rauschenberg died last night at the age of 82, according to the NY Times. In addition to being a painter, photographer, and sculptor, Rauschenberg also designed sets and costumes for choreographers Merce Cunningham, Paul Taylor, and Trisha Brown beginning in the 1950s.
