		<description><![CDATA[I agree that figure skating seems to be going through an identity crisis, more so compounded by the recent scoring changes which, in what little I&#039;ve seen so far, hasn&#039;t done much to change the sport. In all, Evan Lysacek skated a very clean long program and skated to win, while you could even see Plushenko struggling to land his jumps in the long program. 

It&#039;s such different questions - to ask what the audience wants to see, and to judge figure skating as an Olympic sport. 

Still, I do fear that now men will be trying to be safe rather than be risky. I like risk - it adds to the thrill, and I&#039;d like to see more people attempt quads and land them. After all, isn&#039;t the Olympics about pushing yourself to the extreme?]]></description>
