Misnomer Dance Theater Premieres “Being Together”

Misnomer Dance Theater will present the world premiere of Being Together at the Joyce SoHo starting this Thursday, December 4th. Being Together features three new works and original music by Evan Ziporyn, performed live by the Real Quiet ensemble during the first weekend of shows. Here is the company’s new improv preview:

On December 14th, Misnomer will be broadcasting their performance live. If you can’t attend one of the shows, or if you’re eager to see them again, here’s your chance. Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer Chris Elam is truly leading the way in the intersection of dance and technology. Last December Misnomer won the Ideablob contest, and the company was recently featured in the NY Times. Also, be sure to check out their blog.
