The Dance Films Association‘s 37th annual Dance on Camera Festival opens on January 7th at the Walter Reade Theater. There are fourteen repeating programs ranging from full length films to innovative shorts. According to the website, the Festival “celebrates the immediacy, energy, and mystery of dance as combined with the intimacy of film. DFA’s Festival is the oldest dance film festival in the world that sparked a global explosion of activity.” Read the full descriptions of the films here, or check out the festival at a glance.
