Radiohead’s Thom Yorke got a healthy dose of choreography from Wayne McGregor in the video for “Lotus Flower”, the first single off of the band’s new album, “The King of Limbs.” Looking good, Thom.

He’s really good!
I got here via the Wayne McGregor tag. Cool blog! I’m interested in what you think about the Yorke/McGregor collaboration.
I don’t know very much about McGregor and Yorke’s collaboration for this video (nor do I know about Yorke’s previous experience with dance), but I love the movement. Yorke is so mesmerizing, and you can really see his music pulsing through his body with such honesty and fluidity. It seems like McGregor’s guidance in this process really resonated with Yorke, and definitely came through in the video.
Sound and body language as one. Not much to tell. Perfection.
Two great artists make one genius collaboration!
